Smithfield BioScience harvests porcine bioproducts – including organs, mucosa, pig tissue and other parts – for use in medical applications. All porcine organs and tissues are harvested by trained collection specialists to meet customer specifications. Based on customer specifications and requirements, products can be harvested from market hogs or sows and are available either fresh or frozen.
